House manual — 1R rooms
For rooms 101, 103, 201, 203. Up to 3 guests, 22 m², one room plus a loft, with a 3-in-1 bathtub.
Basics
- Floor plan: one room plus a loft above. Use the loft for the third guest.
- Beds: one queen-sized bed in the main room, plus a futon set for the loft.
- Bathroom: a 3-in-1 unit with a bathtub, shower head and toilet inside the same compartment.
- Kitchen: IH stove, microwave, fridge, kettle, and rice cooker.
Bath & shower (3-in-1 unit)
- Run hot water at the unit’s tap. Set the temperature on the wall thermostat if available.
- Please draw a shower curtain across the tub before showering so the floor does not flood.
- Toilet is inside the same unit. Please switch off the bathroom fan when not in use to save power.
- Shampoo, conditioner and body soap are provided. Hair dryer and straightener are in the room.
Washing machine — manual detergent
- 1R rooms do not have automatic detergent dispensing.
- Use the gel-ball detergent pods attached by a magnet to the side of the washing machine — one pod per load.
- Standard wash cycle works for most clothes. Please avoid washing thick blankets, carpets, shoes, or items with metal parts.
- Quiet hours: please do not use the washer between 22:00 and 08:00 to avoid disturbing neighbors.
Kitchen
- Rice cooker: rinse rice, add water to the mark for the number of cups, and press the start button.
- IH stove: press the power button, then select cooking heat. Only flat-bottomed pots and pans work.
- Basic cookware, utensils and tableware are provided. Please wash them before checkout.
TV / streaming
The room has an Android-based monitor for YouTube, Netflix and similar services. There is no terrestrial Japanese TV. Please sign out of any accounts you log into.
Stairs
There is no elevator. Rooms 101 and 103 are on the 1st floor; 201 and 203 are on the 2nd floor.
